No green home is complete without a spirit of re-use! We kick off the 2018 Cumbria Green Build Festival with a fantastic opportunity to do just that.
Have a good clear-out and bring anything you don't want any more to the Freegle Give & Take event, where someone else can hopefully give it a loving new home.
While you're there, have a rummage and take away anything you fancy.
If you haven't been to a Freegle Give & Take, you're in for a treat. They're great fun... you just never know what items will turn up. DIY goods, tools, kitchenware, soft furnishings, garden stuff, toys, clothes, CDs, DVDs, books, ... they're all generally among the goods that change hands.
It's all part of keeping useful items in use and out of landfill, while helping others find things they need, with the added benefit of clearing out clutter.
Entry is free and all goods change hands free of charge. No need to book - just turn up.
No furniture or large items, please, as anything left over will be taken to local charity shops in a very small car!
